Until I started my car and my turbo timer didn't come on and then when I braked stuff died and hicas light came on. I had this problem before, but it disappeared and then came back months later. I first thought it was my alternator belt not tight enough because I had that problem before too. I read through posts using SEARCH and saw BOOZTED said it was his battery clamps/wires with mad corrosion. I was like, "Hah, corrosion couldn't possibly cause this, after all, it's only corrosion" Cleaned my terminal clamps and all up and booya...turbo timer came on and after 30 miles of driving, no more stereo cutting out or light flashing on...Thanks once again TT.net...I couldn't even fathom how much money I saved and how much knowledge I've learned. This Z is/was my first 5 speed turbo'd car...and 2nd car ever. First being a '91 Nissan Sentra GXE and sometimes an '87 Acura Legend...so the jump from them to the Z was enormous. Plus, the Z is basically the first car I ever worked on...which is crazy because of how many freakin things are in it and how cramped everything is. I never thought I would be dropping tranny's, changing fuel pumps, installing dp/tp's, changing injectors, replacing water pumps, removing plenum's, etc...In my whole life...ESPECIALLY on a ZTT. Once again, thanks everyone.
